2006 Fundraising

The Family Quiz Afternoon held on Sunday, 2^nd April, 2006 was a great success raising £300.80 for Club funds.

The winners were:-

1^st: “Andy and the Girls”; 2^nd: “3 Men and a Lady”; Booby Prize: “The Muppets”.

“Guess the Bear’s Birthday” was won by Shona McGregor, and, “Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar” was won by Gavin Robertson.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the afternoon refreshments and raffle prizes.  A most enjoyable afternoon was had by all.

Your continued support is very much appreciated.

A recent car boot sale raised £80.00 for Club Funds.

Between 30 September and 3 October, Alison successfully completed the 48.5miles of the Cateran Trail. 

The weather was excellent on the first day, however, it was downhill thereafter, with rain on and off for the next three days.

A total of £332.00 has been donated to the Club to assist with the engraving of trophies presented at the Club Championship Disco in November.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored Alison, your continued support to the Club is very much appreciated.

Tickets were drawn at the Club Championship presentation on Saturday, 18 November, 2006 at the Moorfield House Hotel.

A total of £933.50 was realised from ticket sales, however, after deduction of expenses, eg purchase of prizes etc, a net profit of £665.41 has been raised for Club Funds.

Well done to all those who contributed to the raffle in some way or other.
